We support more than 500 customer sites across 30 European countries, managing more than 3,000 components sourced from 400 suppliers.

Our European headquarters is located in Hambach, France and features 6,000 sqm of warehouse space. With a team of more than 70 employees, including six local engineers, five quality specialists and a dedicated tunnel team that works across the globe, we provide strong local market coverage, delivering the products, engineering expertise and supply chain solutions manufacturers need to keep production moving.

Regional Leadership

Optimas International Europe is led by David Kessler, VP – Europe.

David brings more than 20 years of experience in the fastener distribution industry, with expertise spanning sales, sourcing, engineering and commercial leadership. Having built a career exclusively focused on the fastening sector, he combines deep industry knowledge with a proven track record of driving business growth across European markets.

David began his career at the family-owned company, Camille Gergen & Sofrasar, where he established a strong foundation in commercial management and sales leadership. He later joined Anixter, serving as VP for France, Germany and Eastern Europe, where he was responsible for leading regional growth and strengthening customer relationships.

Since joining Optimas International in 2015 , David has played an instrumental role in driving growth and profitability across our European operations. As VP of Europe, he leads the organisation’s strategic direction across the region, reinforcing our position in core markets while driving expansion into new industries and growth opportunities.

Through a collaborative leadership approach and a strong customer-first mindset, David is committed to building sustainable, long-term partnerships, fostering high performing teams and delivering consistent success for customers across Europe.


Regional sales are led by Stephane Cremmel, Sales Director, Europe

Stephane brings over two decades of experience in industrial distribution and automotive manufacturing, having previously held key account and sales leadership positions at Brammer Group, Cooper Standard Automotive and Forvia.

Since joining Optimas International in 2016, Stephane has held a number of progressively senior commercial roles, initially leading the business in France before expanding his remit to include Germany as well as Central and Eastern Europe. Since 2020, he has been responsible for sales across the entire European region.

In his current role, Stephane leads key account management, business development and customer service across the region. He works closely with customers to understand their needs, develop tailored solutions and improve supply chain performance, helping support long-term growth and ongoing partnership.
