Our UK operations are headquartered in Gloucester, with distribution serviced from two locations, our 50,000sq ft facility in Gloucester and a further 16,000sq ft site at Wynyard.

Our UK based teams, spanning sales, sourcing, supply chain, engineering and quality, allow us to provide strong national coverage, responsive local support and reliable, hands-on technical expertise where it matters most.

As a full-service fastener partner, our team in the UK works collaboratively with customers and suppliers across the country to develop tailored solutions designed to meet the unique operational and commercial requirements of each business.

We align our engineering teams to those of our key customers, providing dedicated support for current programmes while working alongside their engineers on future business to drive BOM rationalisation and deliver economies of scale.

Parts are delivered across the UK using our own fleet, giving us direct control over lead times and delivery performance.

Regional Leadership

Optimas International UK is led by Pete Stevenson, VP – UK.

Pete brings more than two decades of experience with Optimas International, with expertise spanning P&L management, business operations, customer service and business intelligence. Having held a series of leadership roles across the business, he combines deep industry knowledge with a proven track record of driving growth in the UK market.

Having started his career in the Royal Air Force, Pete has a strong foundation in operational discipline and leadership. He later moved into the fastener distribution sector, joining Optimas International and progressing through a number of senior positions across the organisation.

As VP of the UK, Pete leads the organisation’s strategic direction across the region, reinforcing our position in established markets, while driving expansion into growth sectors.

Pete attributes much of his industry knowledge and achievement to the collaborative teams he has worked alongside across Optimas International’s locations. Through this team-first leadership approach and a strong customer-first mindset, he is committed to building sustainable, long-term partnerships, fostering high performing teams and delivering consistent success for customers across the UK.
