David brings more than 20 years of experience in the fastener distribution industry, with expertise spanning sales, sourcing, engineering and commercial leadership. Having built a career exclusively focused on the fastening sector, he combines deep industry knowledge with a proven track record of driving business growth across European markets.

David began his career at the family-owned company, Camille Gergen & Sofrasar, where he established a strong foundation in commercial management and sales leadership. He later joined Anixter, serving as VP for France, Germany and Eastern Europe, where he was responsible for leading regional growth and strengthening customer relationships.

Since joining Optimas International in 2015 , David has played an instrumental role in driving growth and profitability across our European operations. As VP of Europe, he leads the organisation’s strategic direction across the region, reinforcing our position in core markets while driving expansion into new industries and growth opportunities.

Through a collaborative leadership approach and a strong customer-first mindset, David is committed to building sustainable, long-term partnerships, fostering high performing teams and delivering consistent success for customers across Europe.

Tayfun brings more than 15 years of experience in the automotive industry, with experience spanning project management, quality, business development and sales. This broad experience has given him a strong understanding of the automotive supply chain and evolving needs of OEMs and Tier customers.

Tayfun joined Optimas International in 2021 as Sales Manager and was appointed Commercial Director in 2025. In his current role, he provides commercial and operational leadership across Sales, Customer Service, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain and Sourcing for the Türkiye organisation.

Working closely with major OEMs and automotive Tier customers, Tayfun focuses on building strategic partnerships, identifying new business opportunities and delivering solutions that address customers’ evolving requirements. He also leads efforts to expand Optimas International’s presence in Türkiye by developing new customer relationships and identifying opportunities for growth across the market.

A key focus of his role is strengthening the local supplier network and continuing to develop the capabilities of the Türkiye organisation. By combining local market expertise with Optimas International’s global resources, Tayfun is focused on building resilient supply chains, creating long-term customer value and delivering sustainable growth.

Since joining Optimas International in 2021, Burak has played a key role in developing customer relationships and expanding the company’s presence across the Turkish market. With extensive experience in the fastener industry, Burak combines strong commercial leadership with a detailed understanding of Turkish customers’ unique requirements.
Burak leads business development across Optimas International’s OEM and Tier 1 customer base in Turkey, working closely with customers to develop solutions that improve supply chain performance and support long-term growth.
